Rajeev Jain ICS WICA, the skilled cinematographer of award winning films, was schooled at Bhartendu Academy of Dramatic Arts (Bhartendu Natya Academy/ Bhartendu Natak Akademi). Working concurrently as a cinematographer, he constantly fine-tunes the skills of cinematic lighting and cinephotography. Seven years of being an assistant cameraman, under such cinematographers as Ashok Mehta ISC WICA, Binod Pradhan ISC WICA and late K.K. Mahajan ISC WICA, has allowed him as a cinematographer to communicate with a crew and light scenes both artfully and efficiently. Additionally, being an avid film watcher, Rajeev draws his inspiration from such cinematographers as Janusz Kaminski, Peter Pau, Andrew Lesnie, Conrad L. Hall, Russell Boyd and Robert Richardson. By watching film and analyzing each frame in detail, Rajeev is able to better his cinematography, be it composition, movement, or lighting.
